Create a color wheel-

Older students can learn alot about color mixing by creating their own color wheels. You will learn that there are warm and cool blues, and warm and cool reds, and warm and cool yellows..you get the picture...A color by itself gives an impression, but in real life a color is never seen alone. So a color is described better in relation to the colors that surround it. Confused yet? Try it- its fun!

So Barb...
What age group do you teach? I find that my high school kids come in with no sense of color.
